L5R Session 04-2: Hanging by a Thread (UNCENSORED)

They were scheduled to be publicly executed, but Bayushi Kaguya managed to beat an enemy Lion in his own game to turn the verdict into trial by combat. Alas, Ikoma Jinsuke nearly got done in (Matsu's Fury + bad die rolls), and she had to patch him up on the spot afterwards.

This is definitely more more raw than my previous L5R session illustrations, and not exactly all about beauty. I guess that's one thing some people forget about tabletop RPGs -- there's always the possibility that the character will get KO'd... without a reset button. I'll admit I got pretty lazy with the background on this one (at least compared to my previous illustrations), but I'm over-all happy with how the art as a whole turned out.

Note: Since this piece features quite a lot of blood, I've marked it as having mature content (just to be safe).
