Dormant Creatures (2021)

Full name is "Dormant Creatures Start to Twitch," another revised artwork from the Chinese seasonals almanac illustrations. However, I did reuse the imagery of an overwintering butterfly chrysalis (specifically the pupa form of the Chinese windmill, byasa alcinous). Their robes are based on the wings of the adult specimens. Fun fact: males and females of said butterfly species have different colorations.
