Chinese Seasonals Almanac

I first encountered the so-called "Almanac of Chinese Seasonals" in Liza Dalby's "Tale of Murasaki", and it's essentially a calendar based on observations of natural phenomena (but not necessarily straightforward -- some entries involve mystical metamorphoses).
